check out ..CROSSRAIL COMMUNITY IMPACTS TECHNICAL REPORT..the local government act 2000 …places a duty on local authorities ..to prepare community strategies..which include..neighbourhood renewal strategies.. to bridge the gap ..between the most deprived areas/neighbourhoods..and the rest of the country,……

CAMPAIGN..for sports facilities/football club/ football pitches, for the gasworks/kensal site,..this would please the local residents enormously,…perhaps atract some football stars, athletes, known to the area and put north kensington on the map..

hi, my name is linda lamb, resident near golborne road, my email is lamblinda75@yahoo.co.uk,..would like to join a campaign that is interested in developing a north kensington football club near the gasworks, site at the back of sainsburys,..have done some petitions and had feedback from the local young residents, who are very interested in the idea of having their own grass football pitches and perhaps the chance to develop their own football club,..I dont think there has been a football club in the area,..the nearest one being QPR. at white city. ..I think it would boost the local area and the local younger residents,..for an entrepreneur,. to come along and develop this possibility, ie; Richard Branston… or Alan Sugar,..who had previously had run a football club, I believe,.. it would put North Kensington,.. on the map, I believe,../… also there are other parts of London, eg. Brixton,.. who have their own currency,..and Bristol now has the bristol pound,..so what about the Portobello Pound,.. portobello shares, portobello coffee, etc…portobello football shares,.etc///

John, the Labour Councillor mentioned was in fact a former Labour Councillor and former Leader Keith Cunningham. He was first demoted and subsequently deselected for various reasons. The Labour Group have no dealings with Cunningham, neither does it wish to. Given Lamont’s conviction we would hope the two character witnesses might like to reconsider their support of him.

Lamont’s barrister during his summing up mitigated Lamont’s action by using unpresented, unnamed or tested character referees. He said that, “This is a man of impeccable character… had Labour and Conservative politicians who have served with him queuing up to say ‘this is a man of integrity.’” No doubt such claims helped Lamont escape prison.

Lamont as only ever been a Councillor in Kensington as far as I am aware, and only got elected to Norland ward in 2006. So the Labour politicians who his barrister is referring to must be one or more of the current 9 serving Councillors.

On the basis of this assertion I would like to know which Labour councillors would step forward and say Lamont is a “man of integrity” – and if this statement is incorrect will you put the record right please?

well I hope Stella is happy ! they cleaned up her back yard so well and now all those investors (because who else can afford to buy for 450000 ?) Oh and …. “home near Crossrail could be your ticket to a 57% profit . “Profit” ? not a home then ? Democracy has not been done here. And yes they did take the name Portobello Square ! who are they hoping to attract? Julia Roberts ? Stella,your mother would be turning in her grave,
